_29th Sunday in ordinary time -Year B-20/10/2024_

( _*Also the solemnity of Blessed Daudi Okello and Jildo Irwa- Paimol Martyrs)*_
Readings (Is 53:10-11, PS 33:4-5.18-19.20& 22, Mk 10:35-45)
 *THEME: "LET'S BE HUMBLE SERVANTS"*
Dear beloved brethren, today's readings invite each one of us to reflect on Christ's Sacrifice and Humility. And to be humble means the Consideration of others first before yourself as well as taking into account the Litany of Humility in general.
Dear beloved people of God, in our community or more so in the Church we should not have leaders who issue orders and subjects obey; since we all created in the image and likeness of God and we have one Father, thus , all are brothers and sisters which implies we must see ourselves as servants to one another in the Community. The various abilities, gifts and talents we are granted by God should bring us more Unity than Division, these gifts shouldn't make us compete with one another rather they should be the source of Communion and Complementarity.
Dear beloved friends in Christ, to be great means to be the last and servant of all, just as Christ was. So as presented in the first reading let's adopt the mentality of service and of giving up one's life for others that Jesus was to illustrate later. True greatness is seen in Faithfulness to God in the darkest seasons of Life like we see in the Martyrdom of Blessed Daudi Okello and Jildo Irwa-the Martyrs of Paimol who suffered for and with Christ by offering their own beloved lives , living in total obedience to God without losing faith and hope and today they are our Heroes of faith.
Dear beloved brethren, to be  truly humble servants, let's take the following Lessons from Christ:
1. Take the path of humility by emulating Christ's Sacrifice.
2. Be ready to lower yourself and suffer for the salvation of others as Christ did
3. Forgive and be sympathetic like the high priest Jesus Christ.
4. Understand people's struggles and share in their conditions of life out of Compassion as Jesus did.
5. Be committed and serve others with great humility and learnt to be least among all and servant of all- the spirit of service with Humility
6. As a servant (disciple of Jesus)  deny yourself and carry your cross and invite Christ to stay with you in all conditions through constant prayers
7. Trust in the intercessions of Mother Mary and all the saints of God.
8. Finally, let's thank God for Jesus'Sacrifice which was for the atonement for our sins and short comings which brought healings, redemption and salvation to the world - let's praise God's Faithfulness, mercy, love and sympathy for the whole world.
Reflection questions.
1. How can I emulate Christ's Humility and Sacrifice?
2. Where can I serve others better?
3. How do I trust God's sovereignty and Faithfulness?
Let's pray for the grace and the holy Spirit to inspire us to follow the path of humility and service, emulating Christ's Sacrifice.

YESU JAI CONFIANCE EN TOI.
HAVE A WONDERFUL AND PEACEFUL SUNDAY TO ALL OF YOU DEAR BELOVED BRETHREN, REMEMBER TO RECITE THE HOLY ROSARY DAILY PLEASE.

FROM GRASS TO GRACE

ARTICLE BY ABENAWE IGNATIUS  The phrase "from grass to grace" encapsulates the transformative journey of moving from a humble, challenging, or disadvantaged beginning to a position of success, prestige, or prosperity. This concept emphasizes the idea that individuals can rise above difficult circumstances, overcome obstacles, and achieve remarkable progress through resilience, hard work, and determination. The journey from grass to grace often involves several key elements: 1. **Humble Beginnings**: Individuals starting from "grass" may face adversity, poverty, limited opportunities, or other challenging circumstances that test their resolve and determination. 2. **Perseverance**: Those striving to achieve "grace" must demonstrate resilience, persistence, and a strong work ethic to navigate obstacles, setbacks, and challenges along the way. 3. **Dedication to Growth**: Embracing a growth mindset and pushing oneself beyond comfort zones are crucial for ind
