The 15th East African Community (EAC) Inter-Parliamentary Games recently concluded in Kampala, with the host nation delivering a dominant performance across multiple sporting disciplines.
The annual event, which brings together lawmakers and staff from across the East African region to foster regional integration and physical fitness, saw Uganda’s Parliament teams secure top honors in several key categories.
Key Highlights from the Games:
Athletics: Ugandan legislators showed exceptional form on the track, leading the medal count in various track and field events.
Netball: The Ugandan team maintained its reputation for excellence, securing a decisive victory in the tournament.
Basketball: In a display of teamwork and skill, Uganda’s basketball representatives outpaced their regional counterparts to claim the top spot.
