The appreciation came during the school's Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) candidates' farewell party held on 9th September 2026. The event celebrated the candidates as they prepared to complete their primary education and move to the next stage of their academic journey.
Muhangi Nursery and Primary School is a purely parent-funded institution with an enrolment of 638 learners. Despite the challenges of depending on parents' contributions, the school continues to provide education while working to improve its infrastructure. The donated construction materials are expected to support the completion of the classroom block and enhance the school's facilities.
The school leadership also appealed for continued support in pushing for government grant aid, which it says is in the pipeline. Such assistance would help strengthen the institution's capacity to meet its educational needs and serve its growing number of learners.
Special appreciation was also extended to East Rwenzori Diocese for donating land for the school's development. The leadership recognised the diocese's contribution as an important foundation for the institution's growth.
The school thanked Hon. Sylvia Bahereira, East Rwenzori Diocese, parents and all well-wishers for their continued support. It called for stronger cooperation among stakeholders to ensure that the school achieves its development goals and provides better learning opportunities for children.
As the PLE candidates prepare for their examinations, the school remains hopeful that continued support will help create a better educational environment for current and future learners.
Long live Omuteganda!
