Musician Kalifah Aganaga, aka Mukiibi Sadat, made his debut in elective politics, representing the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in the Kawempe North MP elections. Although he emerged fifth with 239 votes, he's determined to continue fighting for his constituents' betterment.

Aganaga expressed his dissatisfaction with the election process, stating it wasn't free and fair. However, he's not letting that deter him. "The struggle continues," he wrote on social media, emphasizing his commitment to his community.

The election was won by Elias Nalukoola Luyimbazi of the National Unity Platform (NUP), who secured an impressive 17,764 votes. Aganaga's participation in the election reflects a growing trend of musicians venturing into politics, inspired by figures like Bobi Wine.
