During a church survive at St Andrews Nkoni church of Uganda parish, Bwizi Archdeaconary Eat Ruenzori diocese on 13/10/2025, Godwin Tumuhimbise Mwinemurangira, the NRM flag bearer for Bwizi Sub-county and District Councilor in Kamwenge District, has revealed plans to construct new classrooms at Nkoni Parents Primary School.
Mwinemurangira, who also serves as the Secretary for Education at St. Andrew's Nkoni Church of Uganda Parish, announced this development in response to the dire state of infrastructure at the school.
Nkoni Parents Primary School, a Church of Uganda-founded institution under the jurisdiction of St. Andrew’s Nkoni Church of Uganda Parish, currently faces serious challenges due to overcrowded classrooms and limited teaching staff. The school’s enrollment stands at over 599 learners, according to the Head Teacher, Mr. Bagarukayo Yowasi.
To address the staffing gap, the school’s Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) has taken the initiative to recruit additional teachers.
The planned construction of new classrooms is expected to significantly ease congestion and improve the learning environment for pupils.
