Preliminary legal advisors in the Workplace of the Examiner at the Global Lawbreaker Court (ICC) are pushing for the affirmation of charges to be heard against the slippery head of the Master's Opposition Armed force (LRA), Joseph Kony, in Uganda.
Last month, the ICC Pre-Preliminary Chamber III reported it would continue to hold an affirmation of charges hearing against Kony in his nonappearance. This was after it said it had met all circumstances to hold affirmation of charges hearing in his nonattendance.
Kony is confronting 33 counts of violations containing atrocities and wrongdoings against humankind supposedly perpetrated against the regular citizen populace in Northern Uganda between July 1, 2002, and December 31, 2005. Dahirou Sant Anna, the Worldwide Collaboration Consultant, Office of the Examiner told Columnists in Gulu City Monday that the recommendations to have the affirmation of charges hearing in Uganda is gainful to the casualties of the LRA in numerous ways.
