The Kamwenge District Registrar, Mr. Magezi George William, has duly nominated Hon. Sylvia Bahireira Tumwekatse as a candidate for the position of Woman Member of Parliament for Kamwenge District in the upcoming elections.

 

The Kamwenge District Registrar, Mr. Magezi George William, has duly nominated Hon. Sylvia Bahireira Tumwekatse as a candidate for the position of Woman Member of Parliament for Kamwenge District in the upcoming elections.

Hon. Bahireira is the incumbent and will be seeking re-election in the 2026 general elections.

Shortly after her nomination, Hon. Sylvia Bahireira pledged to continue her commitment to the development of Kamwenge District. 

She reaffirmed her dedication to improving the lives of her constituents through ongoing and new initiatives aimed at social and economic transformation.
