Celebration of the 60th Anniversary for the Canonisation of Uganda Martyrs.

Elite Daily News ✈️: There were brilliant scenes of love and commendation as Diocese supervisor Paul Ssemogerere managed festivities by Kampala Clerical Area to stamp the 60th Commemoration today of the Canonization of the Uganda Saints. Thousands met on Munyonyo Saints Hallowed place for the Precious stone Celebration festivities went to by Diocesans Joseph Zziwa of Kiyinda Mityana, Lawrence Mukasa of Kasana Luweero, Serverus Jjumba of Masaka and Christopher Kakooza of Lugazi. Back in time - on Mission Sunday, October eighteenth 1964 - the 22 Catholic Saints of Uganda were declared Holy people by Pope Paul VI in St Peter's Basilica Rome. Charles Lwanga, Joseph Mukasa Balikuddembe, Mugagga, Andrew Kaggwa and their associates, laid the ground for strict confidence in Uganda. After sixty years, a festival was held today to check the jewel celebration that had best of dance, a strong lesson by the Ecclesiastical overseer, ensemble maestros doing their thing, and fabulous parade of clerics. Government officials Salam Musumba and Justine Lumumba, in addition to previous Joseph Mulwanyammuli Ssemwogerere participated in the festival. It finished with the Ministers establishing a tree in recognition of the day.
